Your equine coaches

Picture
We love our horses. They are an integral part of our team and our Horse Sense coaching sessions. It’s their intuition, their understanding, and the immediate feedback they provide that makes equine assisted coaching so effective.

We understand, though, that you may have concerns that you have no knowledge or experience of horses. Some of you – or your team – may even be nervous of horses, or of what equine assisted learning involves. Equine assisted learning requires no element of ‘horsemanship’, and we’re very used to helping people feel at ease with horses if this is an issue. We’ve addressed some of the common questions and concerns we receive in our FAQs, and we’d be very happy to talk to you about equine assisted learning in more detail and address any specific concerns you have – just call us on 07973 838163.

Here, we’d like to introduce you to some of our equine coaching team..

Brandy
Picture
Brandy is most definitely the boss of our herd of horses - and doesn’t he make sure his team know it!  He tends to lead from behind, driving his team in the direction he wants them to go. He is an intelligent horse and very intuitive; particularly good at detecting the very subtle changes in your body language and reacting accordingly.  Working with Brandy gives you the opportunity to test and develop your own leadership skills

Star
Picture
The oldest member of the team but age and experience don’t necessarily make for a good leader! Star is very capable and competent and can turn his hoof to most disciplines. An industrial accident many years ago resulted in him losing the sight in one eye. To compensate for his impaired vision, Star has developed a heightened sense of hearing and definitely believes that there is safety in numbers, always preferring to work alongside other members of the team rather than on his own.  Time spent with Star is time well spent for anyone needing to develop their personal influence.

Bully

Bully is a strong and trustworthy member of our equine team who can always be relied upon in difficult situations. His previous employment history is a little sketchy but we believe he has worked at many different places, often being fired for his attitude issues. Previous employers never seemed to have the patience to understand and develop Bully, but we saw his potential. We’ve invested time, money and energy into Bully and it has really paid off.  Spending time with Bully offers the opportunity for valuable insight into patience and empathy.

Thank you Bully, Brandy and Star!  This coaching session was a real game changer for me.  Karen’s calm coaching style and the relaxed use of the horses really made me face up to my realities and give honest answers – after all, horses don’t lie! This was a fantastic way to work through my true thoughts and feelings; to find a clear path that really worked for me.
