15 years ago my life was turned upside down and I totally lost my direction.  I turned to a Life Coach for help.  The experience of receiving coaching inspired me to train as a coach myself and I've never looked back since.  I trained initially as a Life Coach and achieved my dream of setting up my own coaching business in 2003. I ran this ILM accredited Coaching and Mentoring company, designing and delivering coaching and coach training programmes in the public sector and pharmaceutical industry.  I sold the business and took up an internal coaching role in a global oil and gas corporation where I had the privilege of coaching business leaders across the world.  For many years, I have been researching the exciting field of equine assisted coaching and it was my dream to combine my two greatest passions; coaching and horses.  My mission is to help other coaches to  operate from a position of total authenticity and to be the best they can possibly be.

I do hope you will join me and my horses in the beautiful Welsh countryside for a profound and transformational experience that will stay with you for a very long time.

Whatever type of coaching you specialise in, your success as a Coach will largely depend on who you are being and how you show up for your clients.  Sounds easy enough but life tends to throw all sorts of curve balls that can knock you off track.  Whether these are glitches in your work or personal life, when these issues remain unresolved they cause you to question your sense of self, silently chipping away at your confidence and self-esteem.

As a Coach, you will understand the importance of being totally present for your clients.  And that means bringing your whole, authentic self to each and every session.  Being present and authentic means having confidence in who you are as a person - and as a Coach.

Equine assisted coaching is an emerging field of personal and professional development.  It is an experience that is utterly profound.  It is a place where we hold the space and create an environment of trust and openness that allows you to work with a different part of your thinking.

Working with a highly experienced Life and Business Coach whilst interacting with a horse on the ground (no riding involved) you will resolve issues, rediscover your true authentic self, and recognise how to present your uniqueness  to the world at large.

Why Equine Assisted Coaching?
Faster results than traditional coaching
By observing how our horses react during the activities, how they co-operate during tasks, we get right to the heart of the matter, immediately. We don’t need to rely on what people tell us (which can sometimes be coloured, either consciously or subconsciously by insecurity or lack of confidence). The horses really do tell us all we need to know, there and then.

More effective than traditional coaching
It may surprise you, but experience has shown us that our clients take feedback from a horse far more readily than they do from their manager or even a coach!  Perhaps it’s the surprise of seeing what they are really feeling mirrored by the horse’s reaction, but it makes people accept the truth far more readily than personality tests or talking.

You raised my own awareness of what was important to me and focused my attention on the skills and talents that I have which would get me to where I want to be. My self confidence is now at a much higher level and I can't thank you enough.

Equine assisted learning is transformational. It shapes people, changes them at a deep level. During a Horse Sense session, our Coach will invite you to challenge your current reality. Working with the horses, you will see for yourself how your own actions and attitudes play out, as the horse gives you immediate feedback, through his levels of co-operation.
Absolutely the best in the business (and I am not prone to superlatives)..pure genius on many levels with respect to people skills, whether it be training coaching mentoring, change management..

Enhanced Learning Environment
Equine assisted learning not only offers the benefits of the remarkable insight horses can deliver. Horses also allow us to access an optimum learning state, a balance and co-operation between heart, mind and emotions. People with high ‘Cardiac coherence’ (as it is known), feel, think and perform better. Horses experience high levels of cardiac coherence, and just being around them has a beneficial effect, enhancing the learning process.

I enjoyed the Horse Sense experience because it made me think in a totally new way about my interaction with people. I like to think I have good interpersonal skills, this experience has prompted me to maintain close attention to all my interactions!
